About The Position

KARL STORZ Endoscopy-America, Inc. is seeking a motivated Sales Associate to join their dynamic team in the Atlanta, GA area. This entry-level position serves as a feeder role to the Sales Executive path, providing essential support to sales efforts in the Atlanta, GA market. The associate will assist in the promotion, marketing, and sales of KARL STORZ products across multiple business units. KARL STORZ is an independent, family-owned company headquartered in Germany, a pioneer in endoscopic surgery, video imaging, and operating room integration for 80 years. With over 9,000 associates worldwide and 2,600 in the US, the company focuses on cutting-edge technology, precise workmanship, and customer support to benefit patients and healthcare providers.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or work experience.
  • Follows hospital protocol and KARL STORZ standards of professional conduct when working with customers, management, and fellow employees.
  • Utilize customer protocols when entering and exiting facilities and abide by all KARL STORZ protocols and procedures.
  • Must be able to meet and maintain all credentialing requirements established by hospitals and healthcare facilities where services will be provided, including background checks, verification of licensure, certifications, immunizations, and any other necessary documentation.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites 90% of the time, including hospitals, operating rooms, laboratories, and surgery centers.
  • Responsible for maintaining up to date hospital credentialing portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct product demonstrations and customer evaluations.
  • Present and differentiate KARL STORZ products, features, and benefits.
  • Build strong, compliant relationships with key stakeholders (nurses, physicians, administrators, etc.).
  • Provide sales quotes, service agreements, and promotional support.
  • Train and educate customers on product care and handling.
  • Manage and track demonstration products and provide timely updates to customers.
