About The Position

The Marsh Risk Early Career Program Summer Internship is a 10-week experience within Marsh’s Risk Consulting business, on the Forensic Accounting and Claims Services (FACS) team. Based in New York or Chicago, the internship is anticipated to start in June 2027 and follows a hybrid schedule requiring at least three days per week in the office. Interns work with experienced FACS professionals to learn how accounting principles, financial analysis, and data-driven insights are used to calculate client losses. The program offers a cohort community, learning and development opportunities, mentorship, exposure to senior leaders, and networking. Interns finish with a capstone presentation of their work to their team and senior leadership. Exceptional juniors may be offered an opportunity to join Marsh’s full-time program after the internship. Marsh Risk Consulting uses research, data, and analytics to help clients understand and manage complex risks. The FACS team helps clients quantify, prepare, and resolve complex financial claims by combining accounting expertise, data analysis, and knowledge of insurance and business operations. FACS professionals work with clients, insurers, attorneys, and other stakeholders to produce clear, well-supported analyses and practical guidance throughout the claims process.
