About The Position

The Summer Intern works in one area of the business or across teams such as Merchandising, Sales, Marketing, Special Events, and Warehouse & Delivery to learn about the alcohol distribution industry. This structured internship gives students exposure to the wine and spirits industry and experience with the relationship between marketing, sales, and distribution. The position is based in Kansas City, Missouri, for the 2027 summer internship program.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency plus one year of experience.
• Maintain at least a 2.0 GPA.
• Strong written and verbal communication, persuasion, motivation, and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and software applications related to job functions.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical and problem-solving, problem-management, presentation-development, presentation, and communication skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Work with a variety of teams to become familiar with all aspects of the company.
• Participate in training, on-site meetings, and department-wide learning opportunities as available.
• Assist with On-Premise Surveys.
• Support the team with additional projects as assigned and defined by the student's specific learning goals.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
