About The Position

KPMG in Canada is seeking undergraduate Business Administration, Commerce or Computer Science students who are pursuing their CPA designation to join the Risk Services practice as a Summer Intern in Summer 2027. The Governance, Risk & Compliance Services team works with professionals experienced in financial and operational internal auditing, internal controls, risk-based analytics, risk assessments, IT risk, and emerging risk areas. Interns will augment and enhance an organization's existing internal control, enterprise risk management, governance, and internal audit capabilities. They will work alongside executives, internal audit directors, and audit and risk committees to develop and deliver quality governance functions that deliver strategic business assurance, identify business opportunities, and enhance organizational value. The Intern and Co-op program aims to develop future leaders through challenging work, authentic client project engagement, and KPMG’s learning and development opportunities. The national Power Up programming offers opportunities to learn from leaders, network with other students, and collaborate with professionals.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate Business Administration, Commerce or Computer Science student.
  • Pursuing CPA designation.
  • Excellent academic record.
  • Committed to achieving Canadian CPA designation.
  • Will obtain CPA required pre-requisite courses at post-secondary institution.
