About The Position

Our Vancouver and Victoria offices are seeking undergraduate Business Administration, Commerce or Computer Science students who are pursuing their CPA designation to join the team as a Co-op hire in January or Fall 2027 as a part of our Risk Services practice. As part of KPMG’s Governance, Risk & Compliance Services team, you will be working with professionals experienced in financial and operational internal auditing, internal controls, risk-based analytics, risk assessments, IT risk, and emerging risk areas to augment and enhance an organization's existing internal control, enterprise risk management, governance, and internal audit capabilities. You will be working alongside executives, internal audit directors, and audit and risk committees to develop and deliver quality governance functions that deliver strategic business assurance, identify business opportunities, and enhance organizational value. Our Intern and Co-op program aims to develop the next generation of leaders through challenging and interesting work. During your term, you will gain authentic engagement experience working with client projects across our teams. Along the way, you will broaden your skill set through KPMG’s vast learning and development opportunities that you can take on to your future career. The national Power Up programming will also provide you with opportunities to learn from our leaders, build a network with other student hires through social events, collaborate with professionals from across KPMG and learn how KPMG supports you in your career journey.

Requirements

Undergraduate Business Administration, Commerce or Computer Science student.
Pursuing CPA designation.
Committed to achieving Canadian CPA designation.
Will obtain CPA required pre-requisite courses at post-secondary institution.
