About The Position

Simon Quick Advisors is seeking interns for its Summer 2027 Internship Program in Morristown, New Jersey. This paid, in-person internship offers exposure to all aspects of the wealth management and investment consulting business, with a focus on client service and investment research. Interns support areas where help is most needed and are trained as generalists rather than hired for a specific role. The program is intended for students interested in business, particularly finance, and careers in investing and/or financial planning.

Requirements

Be a rising senior graduating in December 2027 or May 2028.
Be proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
Be highly self-motivated and able to work independently as well as on a team.
Have strong organizational, time management, and written and oral communication skills.
Have strong attention to detail.
Foster a positive atmosphere within the office and with clients.
Display a team-oriented, collaborative spirit.
Maintain professional behavior, appearance, and etiquette.
Be able to work under multiple managers in a dynamic environment and at a high level of independence.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of investing and financial markets is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide daily administrative support, including scanning documents, filing statements, answering phones, and other general office tasks.
Work with the client service team to prepare portfolio analytics and presentation materials for client and prospect meetings.
Attend client calls covering topics such as market outlook, portfolio performance, and financial planning.
Create manager profiles in the proprietary database and liaise with investor relations departments when necessary.
Take detailed notes on manager calls and attend investment research team meetings.
Generate research on macro events affecting the investment community.
