Summer Intern - IT Manufacturing Systems

About The Position
As an IT Manufacturing Systems Intern, you will play a key role in optimizing how our manufacturing sites utilize our ERP system. In this position, you will help drive high-level system performance by coordinating critical IT initiatives and supporting our ongoing ERP implementations. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. The company does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B, TN, etc.) for this employment position.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Administration, or a related field
- A strong foundational understanding of general IT concepts (networks, databases, cloud computing, or business software)
- Project management experience
- Microsoft Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You are comfortable talking to both highly technical engineers and non-technical business users
Nice To Haves
- SQL Server Management Studio or other coding language preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Coordinate ERP Implementation & Rollout plans
- IT development testing to ensure delivered solutions function to design requirements and meet the overall need of business partners
- Assist with data cleanup and migration efforts. Help compile data sets, process flowcharts, and reporting tools to prepare functional design documents
- Complete and present a summer project to senior leadership
