About The Position

Mets Baseball & Softball Camps is seeking enthusiastic Camp Counselors & Coaches for our Mamaroneck, NY camp from July 27–31, 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for college students, teachers, coaches, education majors, graduate students, and former athletes looking for a rewarding summer position that combines leadership, mentorship, and outdoor fun. Whether you're pursuing a career in education, coaching, youth development, or simply enjoy working with children, we'd love to meet you.

Requirements

• Experience working with children preferred
• Experience with baseball or softball
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Ability to work outdoors and remain active
• Reliable transportation to Mamaroneck
• Ability to pass a background check

Nice To Haves

• Coaching, teaching, tutoring, camp, babysitting, or youth program experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with camp activities and games
• Work with campers ages 4–13
• Promote teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship
• Create a fun, safe, and engaging camp environment
