About The Position

Lazard is hiring a 2027 Summer Associate for its San Francisco Technology Banking Group. The group provides financial advisory services to clients in the technology sector, covering application software, infrastructure software, fintech, semiconductors, hardware, IT services, and internet sectors. Summer Associates perform financial analysis and modeling, create and prepare client presentations, and interact with clients. The internship begins with a week-long comprehensive training program in New York and includes formal mentorship, exposure to the Leadership Team, and social and networking events with bankers across the firm. The role is located in San Francisco, and an interest in working there is necessary.

Requirements

• Have 2–3 years of prior work experience.
• Be currently matriculated in an MBA or JD program and within two years of graduation.
• Demonstrate top academic performance.
• Show motivation, creativity, maturity, and poise.
• Have a strong quantitative background and strong analytical skills.
• Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Have an interest in working in San Francisco.
