About The Position
The Summer Associate will join Lazard’s San Francisco Technology Banking Group, which provides financial advisory services to clients in the technology sector, including application software, infrastructure software, fintech, semiconductors, hardware, IT services, and internet. The role involves financial analysis and modeling, creating and preparing client presentations, and interacting with clients. The internship begins with a week-long comprehensive training program in New York. Associates also receive formal mentorship, exposure to Lazard’s Leadership Team, and opportunities to participate in social and networking events with bankers across the firm. The position is located in San Francisco, and an interest in working there is necessary.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of prior work experience.
- Currently matriculated in an MBA or JD program and within two years of graduation.
- Top academic performance.
- Motivation, creativity, maturity, and poise.
- Strong quantitative background.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask.
- Interest in working in San Francisco.
