About The Position

The Seasonal Part-Time Suites Runner delivers food from production kitchens to the Suites department on two floors as quickly and efficiently as possible to help ensure a positive guest experience. The role also stocks alcohol, water, and soda. The department requests 60% event availability; schedules are published on the Ball Arena website. Shifts are primarily afternoons and evenings and may include Christmas, playoffs, NCAA events, opening days, prep days, all Sunday-inclusive dates, and other mandatory dates. Applications will be accepted through 11/11/26 or until the position is filled.

Requirements

At least two years of prior food and beverage industry experience as a busser or food runner.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Ability to walk without aid while carrying up to 50 pounds continuously; push and pull up to 50 pounds; lift cases of alcohol and full chafers with both hands for most of the shift; and bend, stoop, crawl, kneel, and reach while stocking and cleaning.
Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift in a very loud, crowded environment.
Availability for 60% of events, including required dates and events; shifts are primarily afternoons and evenings.

Responsibilities

Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the Suites department in a timely, organized manner, using information on kitchen tickets.
Stock alcohol, water, and soda.
Facilitate communication between servers and the culinary team.
Read kitchen tickets to ensure order quality and accuracy.
Monitor guests’ dining experiences and help ensure they are satisfied with the food and service.
Respond appropriately to guest requests and communicate requests to the Suites department immediately.
Assist with cleanliness in kitchen and service areas.
Provide guests with guidance, including general arena information.
Perform general cleaning tasks in accordance with health and safety standards.
Practice safe work habits, follow safety policies, procedures, and regulations, and complete company-wide and job-specific safety training.
Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
