About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) is seeking a part-time classroom substitute to teach in a classical and Catholic classroom for up to 13 hours per week in our Pelham, New Hampshire location. We are a classical homeschool academy in the Catholic tradition, offering instruction in a formal Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays. The positions are hourly, and childcare/nursery is provided. No additional vacation days are given, though accommodations are made for sick days as needed. Applicants must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and have a deep love for the Catholic faith. Curriculum and grading guidelines are provided, and tutors are trained to provide instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. All staff complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training prior to teaching at Regina Caeli Academy. Center hours are Mondays and Thursdays 9:00am - 3:30pm. A mandatory training day is required on August 10, 11, or 12, 2026 (TBD) prior to working in the classroom (8am-5pm; no childcare provided, nursing babies always welcome).

Requirements

Must be available to work up to 13 hours per week.

Must be living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to his or her state in life.
Must complete a background check.
Must complete RCA Safe Child training.
Must be available to attend one mandatory training day on August 10, 11, or 12, 2026 (TBD).
