Part-time Substitute Teacher - Up to $145 daily
About The Position
Kokua Education is hiring part-time substitute teachers for K–12 schools in the Rio Grande Valley, Texas, for the 2026–27 school year. Substitute teachers can set their own schedules and work up to five days per week in assignments they choose. They may earn up to $145 per day, with pay rates depending on education level, and are paid weekly through W-2 employment. Requirements
- At least one year of experience working with children in any setting, such as a classroom, tutoring, or coaching.
- At least 48 college credit hours completed.
- Confidence managing a classroom of students.
- Willingness to step in where needed and perform duties such as supervision, tutoring, and testing proctoring.
- Pass state and federal background checks.
- Include relevant experience working with students on the resume.
