About The Position

Teachers Now is hiring dependable and motivated Substitute Teachers to support local K–9 schools throughout the Texas City, Webster, and Galveston areas. Assignments may be daily or long-term. Substitutes can pick up assignments that fit their schedules or pursue a consistent long-term placement. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with typical hours of 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Pay is $90–$120 per day.

Teachers Now offers flexible daily assignments, opportunities for consistent long-term placements, paid substitute teacher training, fingerprinting reimbursement, hands-on K–12 classroom experience, and support from the Teachers Now team.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Reliable, professional, and adaptable.
• Comfortable working in different classroom environments.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children is preferred.
