About The Position
Holy Family Catholic School, a K–8 parish school in St. Petersburg, Florida, is accepting applications for substitute teachers for the 2025–26 school year. Substitute teachers teach classes from Kindergarten through 8th Grade. Candidates should be highly responsible, energetic, organized, child-focused, have excellent communication skills, and support the mission of Catholic education. Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.
Requirements
- At least a high school diploma; candidates should be 21 years of age.
- A bachelor's degree or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Be highly responsible, energetic, organized, and child-focused.
- Support the mission of Catholic education.
- Complete a Level II Background Screening, Safe Environment Training, and other mandated diocesan training.
Nice To Haves
- Prior teaching experience.
