About The Position
Acelero Learning is seeking a Substitute Preschool Teacher to support early childhood education and help advance positive outcomes for children, families, and communities. The role works collaboratively with classroom teachers to support successful classroom operations and children’s development. The position is at Acelero Learning Wisconsin’s Teutonia Center and is scheduled to begin in Fall 2026. Compensation is $15.96 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package.
Requirements
- Commitment and passion for working with children and families.
- Effective communication and written skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness to complete the Introduction to Childcare Profession Certification, or already have completed it.
Nice To Haves
- Substitute Certification preferred.
- Associate degree or bachelor’s degree.
Responsibilities
- Work effectively with other teachers in the assigned classroom and center.
- Support children’s social and emotional development using positive guidance approaches to challenging behaviors.
- Encourage family involvement in the Head Start program and support relationships between children and their families.
- Follow Acelero Learning policies and procedures concerning health, safety, nutrition, and other center operations.
