Preschool Substitute Teacher
About The Position
Spring Education Group is a national network of independent schools serving students from preschool through 12th grade. Montessori Academy in Idaho provides an authentic Montessori educational experience, with educators guiding students in meaningful work in a prepared environment. Its approach combines academics, practical life, sensorial experiences, and mixed-age groups within a culture of care, courtesy, and respect. The on-call Substitute Teacher supports Infant, Toddler, and Preschool classrooms as part of a caring team. The role helps maintain a stimulating, nurturing, and peaceful prepared environment for young learners. The position pays $16–$17 per hour and offers professional growth and development opportunities in a supportive community.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a minimum of a high school diploma.
- Successfully clear a criminal background check.
- Have previous teaching experience.
- Comply with all state education and licensing standards and maintain validation of credentials for the position.
- Be positive, excited to work with young children, and able to communicate well with fellow teachers and parents.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate smooth transitions throughout the day.
- Assist with and support group time and outdoor activities.
