About The Position
Cadence Education is seeking an energetic, creative Substitute Preschool Teacher to help create a safe, engaging, and developmentally supportive learning environment. The role involves working with other educators to deliver the company’s curriculum, support children’s interests and development, and communicate children’s milestones to parents. The position requires flexibility to step in during business hours and to meet state preschool teacher assistant requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 18 years old.
- Meet all state preschool teacher assistant requirements.
- Be flexible and available to step in during business hours.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a teacher assistant or in a licensed daycare.
Responsibilities
- Embrace Cadence Education’s philosophy and collaborate with educators to deliver a fun, developmentally focused curriculum.
- Document and share children’s daily milestones with parents.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and leaders to create engaging learning experiences.
- Observe children’s interests, maintain their safety, and extend their play through language, toys, and activities.
- Encourage children’s social skills and positive behaviors.
- Help plan varied daily schedules that include quiet time, active play, indoor and outdoor activities, and fine- and gross-motor experiences.
