About The Position
Cadence Education is seeking an energetic and creative Substitute Preschool Teacher to help create a safe, engaging learning environment for children. The role supports the school’s educational philosophy and curriculum, collaborates with educators and leaders, and helps provide developmentally appropriate experiences. The substitute must be flexible and ready to work during business hours.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 18 years old.
- Meet all state preschool teacher assistant requirements.
- Be flexible and available to jump in during business hours.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a teacher assistant or in a licensed daycare.
Responsibilities
- Support Cadence Education’s philosophy and work with educators to deliver a fun, developmentally focused curriculum.
- Document and share children’s daily milestones with parents.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and leaders to create engaging experiences.
- Observe children’s interests, maintain their safety, and extend their play with language, toys, and activities.
- Encourage social skills and positive behaviors.
- Help plan a varied daily schedule that includes quiet time, active play, indoor and outdoor activities, and fine and gross motor experiences.
