About The Position
Acelero Learning is hiring an on-call Substitute Preschool Teacher for its Green Street Center in Wisconsin. The role works collaboratively with classroom teachers to support the successful operation of the classroom and contribute to positive outcomes for children and families. The position focuses on children's social and emotional development, positive guidance, family involvement, and compliance with center policies and procedures. The stated timing is Winter 2026, and compensation is $15.86 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Commitment and passion for working with children and families.
- Effective communication and writing skills.
Nice To Haves
- Substitute certification.
- Associate degree or bachelor's degree.
Responsibilities
- Work effectively with other teachers in the assigned classroom and center.
- Support children's social and emotional development and use positive guidance approaches to address challenging behaviors.
- Encourage the involvement of children’s families in the Head Start program and support relationships between children and their families.
- Follow Acelero Learning policies and procedures related to health, safety, nutrition, and other aspects of center operations.
