Washington County is looking for a dependable, caring Substitute Meals-On-Wheels Driver to deliver nutritious meals to homebound seniors. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys driving, helping others, and making a positive impact in the community.
Requirements
- Dependable and safety-conscious
- Comfortable driving and navigating throughout the service area
- Friendly, patient, and comfortable working with senior citizens
- Able to communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, and supervisors
- Able to perform the physical duties of the position, including lifting and loading
- Familiar with basic vehicle operation, safety practices, and driving laws
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Utah Driver's License
- Ability to obtain a Utah Food Handlers Permit within 2 months
- Ability to perform physical duties, including lifting
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test

Responsibilities
- Deliver meals to seniors along scheduled routes
- Provide friendly, respectful service and report client health or safety concerns
- Help package and load meals as needed
- Perform basic vehicle safety checks and keep delivery records
- Maintain a safe, clean delivery vehicle
