Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in delivery driving, food service, or community support roles.
  • Familiarity with food safety and handling procedures.
  • Basic understanding of safe driving practices and vehicle operation.
  • Ability to follow routes, read maps, and use basic navigation tools.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver meals safely and on schedule to elderly clients using a company vehicle.
  • Load, organize, and transport up to 100 meals per day while maintaining food safety standards.
  • Provide friendly, respectful customer service during each delivery.
  • Follow assigned delivery routes and adjust as needed for weather, traffic, or client needs.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and report any issues, concerns, or changes in client condition.
  • Ensure the company vehicle remains clean, fueled, and in good working condition.
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and temperature-control procedures when handling food.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, kitchen staff, and program coordinators.
