About The Position

Substitute Teacher Location: Districtwide. Must have a valid license issued from KSDE, a completed application, and TB test results valid within the past 12 months. A substitute teacher is required to either hold a Kansas Teaching Certificate, Standard Substitute License, or an Emergency License. An education degree is needed for a Teaching Certificate and Standard Substitute License. The primary requirement for an Emergency Substitute License is a minimum of 60 semester hours of college credit from a regionally accredited college or university. $125.00 per day. The hours are as needed. Upon completing application licensure will be reviewed, background check conducted, and reference check email(s) sent. Applicants with appropriate license and successful background and reference check will be contacted by a member of the Employee Services Department set up a time to fill out necessary paperwork. Once complete you will be added to the list of potential Substitute Certified Teachers for the district.
