Styling Assistant (Intern)
About The Position
The Color Bar Hair Salon offers an unpaid, education-based assistant internship through its Fast-Track Stylist Development Program. The program provides hands-on experience in a high-performing salon, mentorship from experienced stylists, and exposure to the systems, standards, and expectations of a premium salon environment. It is designed to help participants develop toward behind-the-chair stylist opportunities based on performance. Interns gain experience in guest interaction and professional communication, shampooing, blowouts, guest care, color preparation, service flow, product knowledge and retail fundamentals using Aveda, time management, and salon efficiency. They may also observe consultations, advanced techniques, and service execution. The program is intended for people committed to building a long-term salon career who are coachable, driven, reliable, professional, and willing to learn and grow.
