About The Position

Equinox is seeking an energetic, creative, and enthusiastic Style Advisor for its Boston location. The role provides a total customer experience to visitors to Equinox and The Shop, while supporting sales goals, shop operations, and the presentation of the retail space. The Style Advisor takes direction from the Shop MOD on business strategy and action plans, and assists with completing operational tasks accurately and on time.

Requirements

• Ability to take direction.
• Experience in a customer-service business, preferably retail.
• Hardworking and diligent, with honesty and personal integrity.
• Excellent time-management, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to use new techniques and ideas.
• Availability to work a varied schedule based on the needs of the retail business.
• Legal right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned monthly individual sales goals and contribute to the total monthly store goal.
• Provide an unparalleled customer experience to visitors to The Shop and Equinox.
• Maintain knowledge of club and Shop services, programs, and products.
• Understand and consistently uphold loss-prevention and inventory-management policies.
• Understand communication and training materials and assist the Shop MOD with assigned operational tasks.
• Help ensure The Shop reflects company brand standards by supporting merchandising and marketing direction and following the Shop dress code.
• Maintain housekeeping and organizational standards on sales floors, at cash wraps, and in stockrooms.
• Build effective relationships with fellow employees, colleagues, supervisors, and clients.
• Maintain working knowledge of happenings and general standards and practices in other departments to encourage camaraderie and team spirit.
• Comply with and enforce company policies and procedures, and support company initiatives.
• Communicate clearly and effectively at all levels with tact and diplomacy.
