About The Position

Equinox is seeking an energetic, creative, and enthusiastic Style Advisor for its Pacific Palisades location. The Shop Associate provides an unparalleled customer experience to visitors of Equinox and The Shop, takes direction from the Shop MOD on business strategy and action plans, and helps ensure productivity and compliance with company policies and procedures. The role also assists with timely and accurate completion of operational tasks.

The position includes achieving assigned monthly sales goals, maintaining knowledge of club and Shop services, programs, and products, and supporting loss prevention, inventory management, merchandising, marketing, and brand standards. The Style Advisor maintains the appearance and organization of sales floors, cash wraps, and stockrooms; builds effective relationships with employees, supervisors, and clients; and communicates clearly and tactfully. A varied schedule based on the needs of the retail business is required.

Requirements

• Ability to take direction.
• Experience in a customer service business, preferably in retail.
• Hardworking and diligent, with honesty and personal integrity.
• Excellent time management, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to utilize new techniques and ideas.
• Availability to work a varied schedule based on the needs of the retail business.
• Must have a legal right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned monthly individual sales goals as a contribution to the store's total monthly goal.
• Provide an unparalleled customer experience to visitors of The Shop and Equinox.
• Maintain knowledge of all club and Shop services, programs, and products.
• Uphold loss prevention and inventory management policies.
• Understand communication and training materials and assist the Shop MOD with timely and accurate completion of assigned operational tasks.
• Help ensure The Shop reflects company brand standards by assisting with merchandising and marketing execution and adhering to the Shop dress code.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and organizational standards on sales floors, at cash wraps, and in stockrooms.
• Build effective relationships and partnerships with fellow employees, colleagues, supervisors, and clients.
• Maintain working knowledge of happenings and general standards and practices in other departments to encourage camaraderie and team spirit.
• Comply with and enforce company policies and procedures, and support company initiatives.
• Communicate clearly and effectively at all levels with tact and diplomacy.
