About The Position

Equinox is seeking an energetic, creative, and enthusiastic Style Advisor for its Pacific Palisades location. The Shop Associate provides an unparalleled customer experience to Shop visitors and other Equinox visitors, follows direction from the Shop Manager on Duty (MOD) regarding business strategy and action plans, and helps ensure productivity and compliance with company policies and procedures. The role also supports timely and accurate completion of operational tasks.

The position involves achieving assigned monthly sales goals, maintaining knowledge of club and Shop services, programs, and products, and supporting loss prevention, inventory management, merchandising, marketing, housekeeping, and organizational standards. The associate builds effective working relationships, communicates tactfully and clearly, supports company initiatives, and complies with company policies and procedures. The schedule varies according to the needs of the retail business.

Requirements

• Ability to take direction.
• Experience in a customer-service business; retail experience preferred.
• Hardworking and diligent, with honesty and personal integrity.
• Excellent time-management, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to use new techniques and ideas.
• Availability to work a varied schedule based on the needs of the retail business.
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned monthly individual sales goals that contribute to the store's monthly goal.
• Provide an unparalleled customer experience to visitors of The Shop and Equinox.
• Maintain knowledge of club and Shop services, programs, and products.
• Follow loss-prevention and inventory-management policies.
• Understand communication and training materials and assist the Shop MOD with assigned operational tasks.
• Assist the Shop MOD with merchandising and marketing execution and adhere to Shop dress-code and brand standards.
• Maintain housekeeping and organizational standards on sales floors, at cash wraps, and in stockrooms.
• Build effective relationships with fellow employees, colleagues, supervisors, and clients.
• Maintain working knowledge of happenings and general standards and practices in other departments to encourage camaraderie and team spirit.
• Comply with and enforce company policies and procedures, and support company initiatives.
• Communicate clearly and effectively at all levels with tact and diplomacy.
