About The Position

The Lead-Studio provides mentoring and leadership to the Studio Fitness team of performers at a Life Time location. The team delivers classes in Studio, Cycle, Yoga and/or Signature Small Group Training to help members achieve their goals. The Lead-Studio serves as a role model, manages department goals and budgets, delivers branded programs, contributes to overall club performance, and builds communities.

The role oversees performers and class offerings, teaches 7–10 classes per week, helps recruit and onboard team members, and works with the General Manager on budgets and business goals. It also ensures members receive an artistry-level experience. Requirements

• Teaches both Small Group Training and Large Group Training classes.
• National Group Fitness and/or Yoga Certification.
• Fitness and Nutrition Certification.
• Two or more years of leadership or managerial work.
• Proven successful collaboration with team members.
• Proven background in building high-performing teams, with the ability to mentor team members and cultivate their career paths.
• Familiarity with managing a budget, staff, and class schedules.

Responsibilities

• Leads and mentors fitness performers through daily supervision, class-performance monitoring, performance feedback, and communication of company policies, protocols, and expectations.
• Optimizes and manages direct reports’ work schedules and schedules for Studio, Cycle, Yoga, and/or Signature Group Training classes.
• Teaches 7–10 classes per week to assess and modify class offerings and schedules as needed.
• Works with the General Manager to scout and interview prospective team members and manage new-performer onboarding.
• Assists the General Manager with managing the studio budget and meeting company and club-specific business goals, including participation expectations, schedule optimization, and performance goals.
• Ensures members experience an artistry-level member experience.
