Studio Experience Team - Rockridge
About The Position
CorePower Yoga is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Studio Experience Team (SET) member to maintain a clean, hygienic, welcoming, and serene environment for students at its Rockridge studio. The role supports the student experience and offers the opportunity to connect with the CPY community and purchase a discounted yoga membership. SET members are expected to demonstrate the company’s core values: Empower Everyone, Practice Gratitude, Build Community, Grow Forward, and Laugh Together. This part-time position involves committing to up to six hours of studio shifts per month, with the schedule varying according to studio needs. The role includes cleaning and disinfecting the studio and its facilities, organizing and cleaning yoga equipment, replenishing supplies, handling waste and laundry, and notifying management about maintenance or repair needs.
Requirements
- Commit to up to six hours of work per month, with scheduling based on studio needs.
- Work independently and efficiently.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Know proper cleaning techniques and disinfectants.
- Be able to lift and move equipment such as yoga mats and props.
- Be available to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adhere to CPY’s attendance policy.
Nice To Haves
- Prior cleaning or housekeeping experience.
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect studio floors, walls, mirrors, windows, and surfaces.
- Maintain clean reception, changing-room, and bathroom areas.
- Clean and organize yoga props and equipment, including mats, blocks, and straps.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap.
- Remove trash and recycling and ensure waste is properly disposed of.
- Assist with laundry, including folding towels and other linens.
- Notify management of studio maintenance or repair needs.
- Commit to a schedule and follow the CPY Time and Attendance Policy.
