About The Position

CorePower Yoga is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Studio Experience Team member to maintain a clean, hygienic, welcoming, and serene environment at its San Mateo studio. The role supports the student experience and the studio community while offering access to a specially discounted yoga membership. This is a part-time position requiring up to six hours of studio shifts per month, with scheduling based on studio needs. The role includes cleaning and disinfecting studio spaces, maintaining supplies and equipment, assisting with laundry, and reporting maintenance needs. Compensation is $18.60 per hour.

Requirements

• Commit to six hours per month; schedule varies based on studio need.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and disinfectants.
• Ability to lift and move equipment such as yoga mats and props.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adhere to CPY’s attendance policy.

• Prior cleaning or housekeeping experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect all areas of the yoga studio, including floors, walls, mirrors, windows, and surfaces.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the reception area, changing rooms, and bathrooms.
• Keep yoga props and equipment, including mats, blocks, and straps, clean and organized.
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap.
• Take out trash and recycling and ensure waste is properly disposed of.
• Assist with laundry, including folding towels and other linens.
• Notify management of maintenance or repair needs in the studio.
• Commit to a schedule and follow the CPY Time and Attendance Policy.
