The Student Teller role involves upholding the Credit Union's Vision, Mission, and Values by accurately processing financial transactions and providing information to members through various channels, including the lobby, drive-thru, and telephone. This position requires offering friendly, helpful, and confidential assistance to members, ensuring an exceptional experience and minimizing wait times. A key aspect of the role is to build member loyalty by consistently delivering Rogue's Service Promises and providing unsurpassed member service at all times.

  • Current student at North Medford High School
  • In good academic standing with a GPA of at least 2.5
  • Going into at least Sophomore year
  • Good communication and listening skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to operate ten-key calculators
  • Good computer skills
  • Good keyboarding skills
  • Cash handling skills
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in their work
  • Ability to use a ten-key calculator and computer keyboard by touch

Responsibilities

  • Receives and accurately processes member financial transactions, including but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, money orders, transfers, etc., as directed.
  • Responds to member's requests, problems, and complaints and/or directs members to the appropriate person for specific information and assistance.
  • Demonstrates ownership and follow through with all member requests.
  • Collaborates with and assists other departments/branches to maintain unsurpassed service across all areas of the Credit Union.
  • Accurately maintains and balances cash drawer and daily transactions, ATM's, vault, cash/coin vaults, dispensing machines, etc.
  • Fully completes branch-specific opening and closing duties.
  • Collaborates and participates with the high school student branch team and is actively involved in the high school branch tasks and activities.
  • Promotes a culture of deepening member participation by effectively cross-selling credit union products and services to meet the member's needs.
  • Proactively performs other duties as needed or assigned.
