As the Student Support Services (SSS) Coordinator for the TRIO program, you will play a key role in supporting a federally funded program designed to help first-generation, low-income, and students with documented disabilities achieve academic success. You will serve as the primary operational and administrative point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, coordinating administrative functions across departments, managing records and budgets, providing administrative support to program staff, and acting as a liaison for the program. In this role, you will analyze, manage, maintain, and monitor operational, grant, and contract budgets in accordance with program guidelines; prepare and maintain financial and fiscal reports; reconcile accounts and process fund transfers and budget adjustments as needed; and complete a variety of financial transactions, including purchasing, payroll, travel, interdepartmental transactions, and participant stipends. You will establish and maintain participant records and files, track and report statistical information, verify eligibility documentation and academic records, and assist with organizing and implementing events for prospective and current participants. You will also help ensure compliance with federal grant requirements and state and federal policies while serving as a resource to students, staff, and the public regarding SSS and other Access & Opportunity program initiatives. Additionally, you will implement and maintain systems and processes that support student programs and services, coordinate tutoring resources, and provide advising and career guidance to students. Through these efforts, you will contribute to increasing student retention, academic achievement, and graduation rates while helping participants successfully navigate their academic and career goals.
