The Department of Computer Science is seeking a Student Support Coordinator to support both Department of Computer Science (CS) student organizations and the Computing Catalyst team. This individual will serve as the primary liaison with student organizations, providing guidance on departmental and university policies, hosting town hall meetings, working with the business office to coordinate purchasing requests and event logistics, and assisting student groups with logistics support for large events as well as assisting external relations events as needed. In addition, the position provides programmatic and operational support for the Computing Catalyst's current student initiatives, including student success, career development, mentoring, scholarship, and experiential learning programs. This individual will coordinate program logistics, direct student employees, maintain program data and reporting, and collaborate with departmental and campus stakeholders to deliver high-quality events and services. Success in this role requires exceptional organizational, communication, and project management skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to providing outstanding support to students while advancing the department's student engagement and retention goals. Due to the nature of the work, this position requires the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, on a regular basis.
