About The Position

Be the welcoming face of UniSC! In this dynamic role, you'll be the first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors, managing enquiries, delivering exceptional front-of-house support, and playing an active role in student engagement initiatives. With a focus on professional communication and accurate record-keeping, you’ll help create a positive, supportive experience that enhances student success and contributes to the university’s broader goals. Please note: there may be a requirement to undertake work during non-standard hours and opportunities for recreational leave may also be restricted during peak periods.

Requirements

  • An Associate Diploma, combined with experience in a customer focussed environment, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education, and training.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to recognise and respond appropriately to a range of student’s inquiries.
  • An understanding of the challenges that might arise supporting students in distress.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage student, staff and visitor matters received via phone, email, and face to face enquiries.
  • Proactively refer students to relevant specialist staff and follow up if required.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with students, staff and clients through professional communications and efficient use of electronic records systems.
