About The Position

Lincoln Land Community College is seeking a Student Success Advisor to support students as they navigate their college journey. The advisor builds supportive relationships, helps students develop decision-making skills, and guides them toward their academic goals. Applicants from all backgrounds and experiences are encouraged to support a diverse workforce and learning environment. The regular schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The position requires availability to work until 6:00 p.m. at least one night a week; evening and weekend hours are common during peak times of the year. Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a criminal background check.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree, extensive relevant work experience, or an appropriate combination of education and experience.
One year of work experience in education.
Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population.
Ability to collaborate with appropriate stakeholders and solve problems.
Detail orientation, strong analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, multitasking capabilities, and good time management skills.
Knowledge of basic computer programs and Microsoft Office.
Ability to work until 6:00 p.m. at least one night a week; evening and weekend hours are common during peak times of the year.
Successful completion of a criminal background check is required for employment.
