About The Position

Constructs a new bacterial strain expressing degron-tagged NusA. Validates the strain by Western blot. Conducts experiments using fluorescence microscopy. Assists in the analysis and interpretation of data. Maintains lab work area in a clean and orderly fashion.

Requirements

• Good time management skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Experience working with bacteria is preferred.
• Must have completed a laboratory course in molecular biology or microbiology (BIOL301, MIMM212 or equivalent).
• Enrolled in a BSc program.
• English communication both verbally and in writing.
• English level # (4) qualifier on a scale of 0-4.
