About The Position

Under the direction of the Director of Student Records for Transfer and Graduation Services, this position is responsible for centralized processing of various student records. All responsibilities will be conducted within the parameters of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), other applicable regulatory requirements, and professional standards. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree required.
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite are necessary.
  • Proficiency using Excel, Outlook, and Adobe is required.
  • High quality organizational and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, self-disciplined, and the ability to handle a high volume of transactions and work with a team player mentality are essential skills for this position.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to promote an inclusive environment that reflects the broad diversity and backgrounds represented by our students and employees and which every individual feels respected and valued.

Nice To Haves

  • Work experience in higher education records is preferred.
  • Work experience in Banner/Ellucian Student Information Systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and post transfer credit evaluations by using the Transfer Equivalency System (TES) and the degree audit system (u.achieve).
  • Work with Academic Affairs to establish transfer credit equivalencies.
  • Process completed graduations in Banner and order diplomas through the fulfillment system.
  • Process various student records-related requests, including grade appeals, grade changes, and student name/demographic information changes.
  • Process drops for non-completion of pre-requisite courses at the end of each term.
  • Oversee all orders in Parchment (transcripts) and process manual orders as needed.
  • Address inquiries and requests submitted to the Student Records Hub inbox.
  • Complete verification requests delivered via the National Student Clearing House.
