About The Position

Study of theories, models, and the multiple variables associated with each, related to intervention in various settings (sport, school, and community) and with various groups. Presentation of various theoretical models concerning intervention in physical activity and health and classical and modern perceptions of play.

Requirements

  • 3 credit / 3 credits
  • 39 hours of teaching per semester
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a master's (or equivalent) in pedagogy or intervention in physical activity or related field, or to candidates with a PhD (or equivalent) in pedagogy or intervention in physical activity or related field.
  • Experience in pedagogy and intervention in the field of physical activity.
  • Employees are legally required under provincial law to complete mandatory training. The list of training may be modified by provincial law.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in teaching of physical education is an asset.
  • Experience teaching in a university setting is preferred.
