About The Position

This posting is for a Student Part-Time Professor to teach DVM 3125 Environmental Policies, Natural Resources Management and Sustainable Development (3 units) during the Winter 2027 semester. The course examines the theoretical and empirical bases for contemporary environmental policies, differing approaches to natural resource management, and definitions, models, and experiences of sustainable development in developing countries. The course will be delivered in person on the Main Campus.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. completed or in progress, or equivalent experience in the field of social sciences and International Development.
  • 54 university units including DVM 2105, DVM 2106.
  • Competence in second language: N/A.

Nice To Haves

  • University teaching experience is an asset.
