About The Position

The University of Ottawa is seeking a Student Part-Time Professor for the SEG4300 course, Topics in Software Engineering, for the Winter 2027 semester. This course covers recent and advanced topics in Software Engineering and related areas, with topics varying annually. The position is limited to student part-time professors and requires excellent knowledge of the course subject matter, demonstrated through teaching similar courses or relevant work experience. The successful candidate must hold a valid NSE4 certification and/or a valid FCP in Network Security certification. Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of course subject matter, demonstrated by having taught similar or related courses, or demonstrated by relevant work experience.
  • Holds a valid NSE4 certification and/or a valid FCP in Network Security certification.
  • Must be a student part-time professor.
  • Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.
