About The Position
This position is for a Part-Time Professor to teach the course CEG4566A, "Conception de systèmes informatiques en temps réel" (Real-time Computer Systems Design), during the 2027 Winter Semester at the Main Campus. The course covers the definition and characteristics of real-time systems, analysis tools and techniques, system structures, reliability, fault tolerance, exception handling, concurrency, synchronization, resource control and scheduling, design methodologies, and computer-aided design. The course will be delivered in person, and the professor is expected to attend tutorials for at least one hour per week on average. This contract includes 52 hours of work, instead of the usual 39.
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of the course content, demonstrated by teaching similar courses or relevant employment experience.
- Must be licensed as a professional engineer.
- Regular applicants must have obtained a doctorate in a relevant field to the course subject, especially for specialized courses, or have relevant work experience after obtaining their doctorate.
- Include professional license number and province of issuance in the application.
- Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
