About The Position
The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Ottawa is seeking a Postdoctoral Part-Time Professor for the Introduction to Computing II course (ITI 1121) during the Winter 2027 semester. This course focuses on object-oriented programming, abstraction principles (information hiding and encapsulation), linked lists, stacks, queues, binary search trees, and iterative and recursive processing of data structures, as well as virtual machines. The instruction will be delivered in person.
Requirements
- Doctorate in a field related to the course, or relevant work experience in a field related to the course after obtaining a Ph.D.
- Excellent knowledge of course subject matter, demonstrated by having taught similar or related courses, or demonstrated by relevant work experience.
- Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training.

- Competence in a second language (passive).
