About The Position

The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Ottawa is seeking a Postdoctoral Part-Time Professor to teach CSI2110E Data Structures and Algorithms during the 2027 Winter Semester at the Main Campus. This course covers abstract data types, complexity analysis, trees, search problems (balanced trees, binary trees, hashing), sorting, graphs and graph algorithms (traversal, minimum spanning tree), and strings and pattern matching. The instruction will be delivered in person, and the professor is expected to attend tutorials for at least one hour per week on average, totaling 52 hours for the course.

Requirements

• Doctorate in a field related to the course, or a relevant work experience in a field related to the course after obtaining a Ph.D.
• Excellent knowledge of course subject matter, demonstrated by having taught similar or related courses, or demonstrated by relevant work experience.
• Completion of all mandatory legislated training.
