About The Position
The University of Ottawa is seeking a Part-Time Professor for the course ELG4159A, INTEGRATED CONTROL SYSTEMS, during the 2027 Winter Semester. This position is within the Faculty of Engineering, specifically the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. The course covers microcontroller technologies, interfacing techniques, analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversions, sensor and actuator modeling, dynamic systems modeling and simulation, electric drives, design of integrated control systems, and discrete system control and stability in the Z-domain. The teaching method will be in-person, and the contract includes 52 hours to accommodate weekly tutorial attendance.
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of course subject matter, demonstrated by having taught similar or related courses, or demonstrated by relevant work experience.
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer.
- A doctorate in a field related to the course, or relevant work experience in a field related to the course after obtaining a Ph.D.
- P.Eng. License number and province of registration.
- Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training.
- Ability to work in English.

Responsibilities
