Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program (Human Resources or a related field), or recent post-secondary graduate.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • The ability to prioritize multiple incoming tasks, and work to achieve your goal.
  • Computer/technology savvy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous HR or administrative experience is an asset, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain employee data and records within Oracle Fusion, our Human Capital Management (HCM) System and internal Health and Safety platform.
  • Assist with recruitment (e.g. posting jobs, pre-screening, scheduling interviews) for hourly positions across Central Canada.
  • Assist HR with the completion of forms and documents.
  • Other duties as required
