About The Position

Join PCL's NAHQ district within the Canadian Buildings sector as a Human Resources Student from August 17, 2026, to April 30, 2027. This role offers a motivated and detail-oriented student the chance to gain hands-on experience in Human Resources, talent acquisition, and recruitment operations by supporting the recruitment process from start to finish and contributing to real hiring initiatives.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program (Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred).
• Strong interest in recruitment, Human Resources, or talent acquisition.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working with data and tracking information.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage job postings and requisitions.
• Support pre-screening activities and help move candidates through the hiring process.
• Coordinate interviews, including scheduling and communication with candidates and hiring teams.
• Consolidate interview feedback to support hiring decisions.
• Prepare and coordinate employment offers for selected candidates.
• Track and maintain recruitment metrics and hiring data.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure recruitment information is kept up to date.
• Provide support on ad hoc initiatives and tasks within Canadian Buildings team.
