About The Position

Hair Cuttery is hiring beauty school students for its FuturePRO (Student to Work) Program, designed to help students transition into professional hairstyling or barbering careers. Associates receive a 90-day mentorship, new-hire classes in styling and color techniques, mannequin practice, advanced clipper-cutting and fading instruction, on-the-job guidance from experienced Cosmetologists, salon-team integration, and personalized training support. Students earn hourly compensation while learning in a salon environment. The program prepares participants for future licensed-stylist work, including access to walk-in guests, performance-based pay, an 8-Level Career Ladder, 12 Price Levels, and the potential to earn up to 75% commission once licensed. The posting states that licensed stylists with strong client loyalty earn an average of $45 to $88+ per hour, plus tips. In the salon, students support the guest experience, follow a training plan developed with their Salon Leader, partner with a licensed professional on consultations for select guests, observe and learn from Salon Professionals, and develop product knowledge, consultation skills, and clientele-building abilities. Applicants must be currently enrolled in beauty school, authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, willing to learn cuts, fades, and color, and flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Hair Cuttery Family of Brands describes itself as the largest privately owned salon group in the U.S., with 500+ salons across Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.
