About The Position

Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids is hiring hair stylists and barbers for its children’s salon, which serves children ages 0–14. The role focuses on providing haircuts and creating positive experiences for children and their parents in a fun, energetic, supportive salon environment. The salon does not offer chemical services and does not have late-night hours.

The position is available full-time or part-time, with flexible scheduling. Compensation is advertised as $35–$45+ per hour with tips and retail commission. The role includes opportunities to recommend retail products without hard selling, and the salon provides paid training and ongoing development, including help with license renewals.

Requirements

• Active Minnesota cosmetology or barber license.
• Positive, patient, and energetic personality.
• Comfort working with children.

Nice To Haves

• Weekend availability is preferred, especially Saturdays and Sundays.
• New graduates are welcome; experienced stylists are also encouraged to apply.
