About The Position
The College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a Student Employee to assist overnight in the Equine unit. This position in the JTV Large Animal Teaching Hospital is responsible for assisting with patient care in the equine section between 9 pm and 6 am.
Requirements
- Enrolled student at Auburn University
- Willingness to learn and follow directions.
Responsibilities
- Setting up for emergencies
- Assisting with hourly walk-bys
- Administer medications
- Perform physical exams
- Hang IV fluids
- Maintain cleanliness of the hospital and animal areas
- Restock supplies
