About The Position

San Diego State University’s Center for Student Rights and Responsibilities (CSRR) seeks a Student Conduct Coordinator to support a fair, educational, and student-centered approach to campus accountability. The coordinator investigates and resolves alleged academic and non-academic misconduct, meets individually with students, assesses evidence, and determines appropriate outcomes in accordance with university policies. The role uses a counseling-informed approach to understand student behavior, connect students with resources, and support personal growth and continued academic success. CSRR acts on behalf of the University President in matters of student misconduct. It receives reports of alleged misconduct under Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations, investigates complaints to determine whether university conduct action should be pursued, and determines case dispositions and sanctions under applicable California State University Executive Orders. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, permanent/probationary, exempt position that is not eligible for overtime compensation. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., though hours may vary based on operational needs. The position is on campus at SDSU in San Diego.
